Student Project Fund supports initiatives by UvA student parties that contribute to the Amsterdam student life and student politics. Below you will find the criteria for student parties; for activities and start-up costs separate criteria apply, which are set out on the relevant pages.

• Informative component
  • The action includes an informative component.
• Topical issue
  • The action is linked to a current issue within student politics.
• Publicly accessible
  • The action is open to all UvA students.
• Timing
  • The action takes place outside election periods.
• Promotion
  • The action is not solely intended for the promotion of the party’s own organisation.
• Deadline*
  • Applications must be submitted at least four weeks before the activity takes place.
• Right of attendance and logo
  • Student Project Fund has the right to attend the event. 
  • Student Project Fund logo must be clearly visible on promotional and communication materials. The logo can be downloaded on the application page.
• Student Project Fund provides a maximum of €750 per student party per year.

* If the four-week deadline cannot be met due to circumstances, Student Project Fund will, in exceptional cases, still consider the application. For this, Student Project Fund expects a written justification from the organising party. Student Project Fund would also like to be informed of any changes to the content of the activity and/or any changes to the budget.
